Day Ten - Taking Leave of Iceland

The sky did not clear so no Northern Lights last night. Or at 4:00 this morning (Rob forgot to unset the alarm). I did see one star at 4:00 am, which was a first for the trip.

Rachael discovered that the pastry shop we bought from on the first day had a location just a block from our hotel, so we had to stop in again.

Then it was time to pack and head out. We made a quick stop at a grocery store for some more treats for friends before leaving. Since we were a bit early we stopped in Njarðvík to see the ocean one more time. Njarðvík is a nice little village with a very large sword in a roundabout.
